GERMAN POTATO SALAD MIX
Vegetable Recipe Ingredients:
12 med. potatoes
1/2 lb. bacon
1 sm. diced onion
Salt and pepper
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. water
Cornstarch
Cooking:
Cook the potatoes in their jackets. When they are cool enough to handle, skin them and slice in 1/4 inch slices. Place in bowl. Fry bacon which has been cut into small pieces together with diced onion. Add vinegar, sugar, water, and thicken with cornstarch. Use salt and pepper to taste. Pour this over the potatoes and serve warm or cold.
